Gfire 0.9.4 Release Notes
Gfire is a free and open-source Xfire plugin for Pidgin which allows you to connect to the Xfire network with the use of Pidgin.
We are proud to announce the latest version of Gfire, Version 0.9.4, which was released on 23rd March 2011.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed rather critical crash on startup if game detection was disabled
- Rewrote file transfer code partially
- Changed P2P handshaking
Added stuff
- Added ability to create P2P connection with local network nodes
- NAT Type can now be looked up in the about window
- Added --disable-game-detection flag to configure for embedded systems or servers
You can install the new version of Gfire over the previous version, but please have Pidgin closed. When you load up Pidgin, you will have the latest version of Gfire.
