Fierce::Parser

Fierce v2 has XML output which allows pentesters to extract information gathered by Fierce.

Usage

Fierce XML files can be generated from using the following command:

 fierce.pl -dns $DOMAIN -format xml -output domain.xml

Installation

Requirements: This is a Perl program requiring the Perl interpreter with a few modules. You can install the modules using CPAN:

XML::LibXML requires xml2-dev. This can be installed on Ubuntu using:

 sudo apt-get install libxml2-dev
 perl -MCPAN -e 'install XML::LibXML'
 perl -MCPAN -e 'install Object::InsideOut'
 perl -MCPAN -e 'install Test::More'
 perl -MCPAN -e 'install Test::Class'

To install the latest stable of Fierce::Parser from CPAN, simply run the following command:

 sudo cpan install Fierce::Parser

To checkout the latest version of Fierce::Parser from subversion, simply run the following command:

 svn co https://svn.assembla.com/svn/fierce/FierceParser/trunk/ FierceParser/
 cd FierceParser
 perl Makefile.PL
 make 
 make test
 sudo make install
