saving raw as dng instead of the current format may save some space and time for developing. i think someone has accomplished (or at least started doing) this on a chdk for a710:

I made some missing translation and corrected the days of calendars to fit ok on display:

1. Changed full days words to only 3 letters for each
2. Translated: 404 "Subtract input dark value" to "Valor Cero en Archivo Restado"

405 "Subtract output dark value" to "Valor Mínimo al restar"

When trying to use manual focus with the zoom rocker nothing happens and it sort of locks up manual focus from even being able to use the up and down buttons, and confuses the camera if it can even use zoom. Sometimes zoom doesn't become usable anymore unless you do a lot of half-presses and toggling the MF mode on and off. No subject-distance overrides were in use when this happens, in case you need to know that.

Why does the blue print-button light flash so much when changing anything? Having that flash all the time ruins stealth abilities for nature and candid photography. Not to mention it's just very annoying. Can there be a way to disable that?
